Porters Landing Guest House is a 1796 house, also known as the Soule-Lambert-Blethen House, located in coastal Freeport, Maine. We are a small boutique guesthouse, comprised of two beautiful and unique suites. We are located a short stroll to the western shore of the tidal Harraseeket River, which opens up into Casco Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The neighborhood, known as Porters Landing since the 1700s, is full of Federal and Greek Revival homes, has a small marine service shop, and two public boat launches. We are located just one mile from bustling downtown Freeport, with all of it's shopping, restaurants, and galleries! Enjoy a day of shopping, hiking, kayaking, or exploring the Maine coastline, and then come home to your Porter's Landing suite for a cozy, lovely evening!
The Porters Landing Guest House is your perfect home-base for exploring Maine! We are one mile from downtown Freeport and just a 3 minutes stroll to the water's edge from our front door! In addition to a wonderful downtown, Freeport is loaded with nature trails, secret coves, farms, and artistic inspiration at every corner! Explore Maine by hopping onto famous Route 1, just two minutes away, which winds it way up the Maine coastline, and through beautiful coastal villages.
